Guide Bio

I have been sailing Cayman’s crystal clear waters for over 25 years! I am well known for providing excellent customer service and quality tours. My experienced staff is friendly and knowledgeable in many aspects of the marine environment. I enjoy offering visitors adventure tours aboard two 50-foot sailing catamarans and other snorkel boats. I offer daily snorkeling tours from Safe Haven to the North Sound. I also provide two buses and one van used for courtesy service to pick-up guests from the cruise ships, hotels and condos.

My tours include a snorkel stop at the beautiful Coral Gardens, the Barrier Reef and of course, no trip would be complete without a visit to the ever-popular shallow Stingray City Sandbar. I also provide private charters.

My family has been well known in the region for many years. My father, known as Matti, was known for the expression I haven’t said a word and the people of West Bay knew my grandfather as Uncle Johnny.

I like to think of myself as a man of the sea. I was brought up to know the importance of teaching a man how to fish so that he can feed himself. I started my working life as a fisherman, which gave me the knowledge I needed to move into the restaurant business. I had Capt. Bryan’s Restaurant in George Town for many years. I missed my time on the water and I decided to open a fishing and snorkeling business. I now share the wonders of the waters with locals and tourists with 3 boats.

My passion for the ocean goes deeper with my concerns for protecting the environment for future generations. I have fought long and hard for stopping dredging and destruction of the North Sound. I believe by preserving this natural resource, it allows job opportunities for locals. I also believe in the rights of small operators in the tourism transportation sector should be protected for future opportunities for expansion.
