Barbara A. Whiteman is the founder and executive director of the Philadelphia Doll Museum Tour. She is an enthusiastic black doll collector and has more than 300 dolls in her collection. One of her black dolls named ” Dark Images”, has been presented to many organizations, schools, and art institutions. She has traveled across the nation teaching about the history of Black dolls.
