Thailand is Southeast Asia’s biggest lure to travellers all around the world. Whether you’re a backpacker seeking the cheapest route or someone who prefers a little bit of luxury with their travel, Thailand is great for all tastes and preferences.
Chances are you’ll be starting out in Bangkok City on your Thailand sightseeing tour. Visit the local temples, or rent a bike and ride along the train-graveyard. Visit the biggest daily market, Talad Klongtoey. You’ll find your senses waking up as you experience fruits and veggies (and other local delicacies) you’ve never seen before! Head to tranquil Benjakitty Park, and enjoy the peacefulness there. Check out Thanon Witthayu, the “most expensive” street in Bangkok where many of the embassies are found. The entrance to Bangkok’s famous Lumpini Park is also found here. You might even spot some locals doing Tai Chi or yoga here.
Don’t leave Bangkok without seeing some of the most impressive structures in the country, like the Royal Grand Palace and Chapel, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and The Marble Temple. Just beyond Bangkok is the capital of the Ayutthaya province in the valley of the Chao Phraya River. It was once a royal city, but now is a collection of fascinating ruins like temples and religious structures. It’s also a UNESCO World Heritage site.
In Railay, embark on a beach tour you won’t soon forget. Explore white sandy beaches in Krabi, renown for having some of the best beaches in the world. You’ll party all night on the beach with your fellow travellers, and then in the daytime enjoy viewpoint hikes and sea kayaking.
