South Africa Sightseeing
Spend a little time in South Africa, and you’ll find it hard to leave this place. Whether you’re in Cape Town enjoying the views from Table Mountain or on safari in one of the big game reserves, South Africa sightseeing is something you’ll remember for the rest of your life. Thanks to this country’s stunning natural surroundings and it’s far-reaching (and insanely complicated) history, you’ll never run out of things to see and do in South Africa. Plan your trip by hiring a local guide so you don’t miss a thing.
Most people tend to fly into Cape Town, and who can blame them? Table Mountain looms over the city, casting a happy shadow over the entire area. Pristine beaches are lined with sunbathers and surfers. Posh restaurants, sidewalk cafes, and even some stellar shopping options can be quite easily found. Cape Town is surprisingly cosmopolitan, with a large youth population and easy access to nearby attractions in South Africa. One option: tour the Vamos township, where you’ll get to experience the lives and culture of the Xhosa people. Bargain your way into buying souvenirs on the streets of Langa, meet the locals, and learn about Cape Town’s history in the process.
Just outside Cape Town is the stunning Cape Point, home to some epic coastal views and lots of wildlife. Visit the seal island to see the seal colony there, or see the Boulders penguins in Simons Town. See the antelope and ostriches on the reserve, or spend time at the lion sanctuary. Visit the Cape Point Lighthouse. You’ll get excellent views of the bay from Chapman’s Peak. Winos, head to Stellenbosch to tour some of the excellent wineries there!Read More ...
